Epilex Chrono 200 mg Tablet is an antiepileptic class of medication, indicated for the treatment of epilepsy, manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder, and prophylaxis of migraine headache.

Each film-coated controlled release Epilex Chrono 200 mg Tablet contains Sodium Valproate 135 mg and Valproic Acid 58 mg (Both together corresponds to Sodium Valproate 200 mg).

Sodium Valproate is an antiepileptic class of medicines. It controls seizures or fits by stabilizing excessive electrical activity in the brain. It is thought to achieve this in two ways: by increasing the activity of a natural 'nerve-calming' agent in the brain and preventing electrical signals from building up in nerve cells in the brain.
