Epilex Oral Solution is an antiepileptic class of medication, indicated for the treatment of epilepsy, manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder, and prophylaxis of migraine headache.
Each 5 ml of Epilex Oral Solution contains Sodium Valproate 200 mg.
Sodium Valproate is an antiepileptic class of medicines. It controls seizures or fits by stabilizing excessive electrical activity in the brain. It is thought to achieve this in two ways: by increasing the activity of a natural 'nerve-calming' agent in the brain and preventing electrical signals from building up in nerve cells in the brain.
